We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Marshall as the Choreographer for our upcoming production of Curtains!
Jennifer spends her days as an Inventory Clerk for the City of Brampton, a job which she loves, but her heart is with Community Theatre. Ever since she was a three year old watching her brother and sister perform, she has been hooked! Jennifer finally got her chance to perform when she turned 12 and auditioned for Georgetown Globe Productions' The Music Man! From that point on, a year never went by without a musical in it.
Over the years, Jennifer helped out in many areas (Producing, Props, Board Member), and then in 2008 she co-wrote and choreographed a cabaret with her best friend. That sparked a new creativity and freedom which made her fall in love with theatre all over again.
Jennifer received an ACT-CO Choreography nomination for her first main stage show - All Shook Up (GGP). Other credits include Annie, Little Mermaid Jr., Nunsense, Shrek Jr., and Wonderfully Wicked (a cabaret).
Jennifer is a big believer that anyone can dance, we just learn at different levels. While she grew up taking jazz and tap classes herself, much of what Jennifer has learned has come from performing in musicals. Community Theatre is a wonderful gift!
Jennifer is beyond excited to be working on Curtains with such a kind and talented team of people. She'd also like to thank Theatre Unlimited for welcoming her to their group!
Auditions for Curtains will be held the week of June 18th - more information coming soon!!
